About Us

The Pet Company, Inc. staff and sitters are devoted to animals and work hard to provide the very best care for your pets during your absence. Our staff is comprised of sitters with a wide range of experience with a variety of animals. In addition, many of our staff members are active in the local rescue community, volunteering their time for the welfare of those less fortunate animals who have not yet found loving homes.

We are an employee staffed service, rather than subcontracting with other sitting services, so that we can assure our clients that the caregiver assigned to their pets has received thorough training in Pet Company policies and procedures, as well as ongoing supervision and learning opportunities in a variety of pet care related areas. We perform criminal background checks and reference and employment verification prior to offering a position to interested applicants. We also require all of our employees to pass the Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR course as soon as possible after joining our staff, so that we're prepared with the skills needed to give your pets the care they deserve! The president of our company, Becki Bradford, is a certified Red Cross Pet First Aid instructor.
